Booking the venue, securing a caterer, picking a florist — the wedding-planning process is full of small victories (read: headaches). One of the biggest to-dos to check off your list? Sending out invites. Once you’ve got those babies in the mail, the rest is practically a walk in the park. Well, that might be a stretch, but having sent them out is a big weight off your shoulders.

And since first impressions are so important, it makes sense that you’d want your invites to feel personalized and unique. To save you from hours of googling, we’ve done the legwork for you. Whether you're aiming for something simple and affordable or going all-out with an elaborate custom mailer, read on for the best spots to score the wedding invites of your dreams. One less thing for you to do!

Hello Tenfold

Hello Tenfold's semi-custom wedding suites allow you to mix and match flat-printing, foil-stamped, and letterpress for the combination that best fits your style — and budget. Menus, thank-yous, place cards, programs, and other paper goods for your big day are also available.

Invitations By Dawn

The philosophy at Invitations by Dawn is that you shouldn't have to spend half your wedding budget on invites just because you want something that feels customized and original. Digital prints are remarkably inexpensive and ship quickly — within one or two business days.

Smudge Ink

This Boston-based outfit specializes in letterpress and offset printing, and can work with you to create a completely customized suite from scratch, or adapt one of its existing templates to suit your specifications. If you're in the area you can visit the studio, but the company reps are also happy to chat by phone and send samples by mail before you finalize your order.

David's Bridal

Who knew that the popular wedding-dress retailer also made invitations? Not us. But it's true: David's Bridal offers a complete line of custom paper products for your big day. Choose your invitation design (there are many colors and styles available), then complete your suite with matching save-the-dates, ceremony programs, menus, escort cards, and thank-you notes. The best part is, it's wildly affordable, with some styles running less than $1 a piece.

Lion In The Sun

This custom paperie (which has two storefronts — one in Brooklyn and one in Long Island) is a favorite among New Yorkers, but you don't have to be local to work with them, and they'll ship free samples anywhere. Choose from a range of printing options (letterpress, thermography, flat printing, etc.), and original designs that can be made to match to your wedding locale, or even your specific venue.

The site provides multiple crisp photos of each invite, so you can get a clear idea of how it will look. However, if you want a completely customized experience, you can work with the design team to build your invite from scratch.
