This Is What It Costs To Live Like Kylie Jenner

Oh, to be Kylie Jenner. To have days when priority numero uno is to shill butt-enhancement cream from the comfort of your own backyard, or just while away an afternoon (make that a significant portion of your life) making faces on Snapchat. When you can earnestly tell the world, "Everyone always wants to know what lashes I wear," and you've got 50 million Instagram followers to prove it. That's something — we're not sure exactly what, but it's something.

We took it upon ourselves to crunch a few numbers and determine how much it really costs to breathe the rarefied air of a #sponsored life. Because following Kylie Jenner on social media offers nothing if not a master class in personal branding — mama can't snap from just any old sofa.

And while older sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé may have schooled her in HOA fees and rattlesnake fencing, King Kylie has been game to share every tweak, tuck, and twist she's implemented in her new digs since moving in late last year. Here's just a taste of what it costs.

Her ultra-glam $2.7-million mansion in Calabasas made headlines last year. It's a far cry from a "starter home," and reportedly features a recording studio in addition to five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and a pool.

The social media savant's open-plan dining and living areas feature two RH chandeliers; a two-tiered iron fixture above the fireplace goes for $1,495 while the Art Deco-inspired light above her dining-room table is $5,095. An adjacent dining nook features five Tolix Marais A Chairs— at $275 a pop.

While Jenner has her own stable of pups, it was her $40,000 English bulldog that made headlines last year (and was, in fact, a thank-you gift for her and boyfriend Tyga's support of an app).

We're not able to verify the identity of Jenner's mystery muralist (ooh-la-la!) but it is possible that she used a site like findamuralist.com to source her Michelangelo. Prices range from $100 to $300 an hour.

Jenner's "glam room" is inspired by Hermès orange and features custom shelving, big-ass mirrors, and a not-so-subtle animal-accessories theme — horns, antlers, and hides, oh my! California Closets custom cabinetry would have cost anywhere from $1,500 to $5,000.

Jenner's Toto-outfitted bathroom likely cost upwards of $5,000; the illuminated sink alone costs over $2,000.

Her moody bedroom features a Mansour Modern rug ($5,000 to $10,000), a pair of Blackman Cruz skull lamps at $2,850 each, Voluspa and Le Labo candles ($29 to $80), and Wi-Fi controlled lightbulbs at $35 a pop — because Jenner can only sleep with the lights on.

Jenner's backyard is equally outlandish. There are four RH Klismos Chaises in this photo alone, retailing for $1,295 each. She also has four Klismos loungers clustered around her fire pit ($895 each) and at least two of the line's sofas ($2,295 each).

The RH Cloud sofa Jenner curls up on to watch TV starts at a hefty $6,390; no word on how much each of those faux fur-covered butterfly chairs goes for.

All told, you're looking at around $80,000 to furnish Casa Kylie — and that estimate's on the low end. But at the end of the day, a complete lack of self-awareness is...priceless.
