Anna Gray is a writer and model living in NYC. Wanting to make something productive of her procrastination habits, Anna started thenewsletter Things I Would Buy if I Didn't Have to Pay Rent (a mouthful, yes, but a title and an elevator pitch in one). An aggregation of everything from clothes to cars, the newsletter is a small corner of the web where you can satiate your own shopping aspirations.

For Refinery29, Anna's bi-weekly column of the same name will feature some selections from her newsletter alongside some exclusives for our readers. Browse her favorites and don't forget to sign up for #TIWB to see the full gamut of Anna's deepest internet wants.

Have you ever thought about what the clothing items you're drawn to say about your psyche? This week's #TIWB was heavily inspired by my imaginary travel plans, Mother's Day gifts, and pom-poms. What does this say about my subconscious? Probs just that I'm just consistently influenced by whatever CVS yells at me from its window displays. Have you paid your May rent? Yes? Great! Treat yourself to something from this week's slideshow.

I saw this photo on a blog and spent approximately two hours looking for a similar shirt on Etsy. Found this and the time wasn't wasted.

Tiki Room Vintage Talbots Red Silk Blouse, $15, available at Etsy.

Currently addicted to: pom-poms. I could have dedicated this whole article to things adorned with poms, but I didn't want to freak you out.

Trademark Bobble Boatneck, $348, available at Trademark.

But here's just one more pom favorite. Wear to parties, wear to work, wear to meet your pals and record their squeals of delight. I'd wear with my imaginary pom-pom sweater and a cropped pant — and then put the squeals on Instagram.

Frances Valentine Pauline Leather Flat Mules, $345, available at Frances Valentine.

Mother's Day is on Sunday! There's something sweet and light about gifting beauty items to mom, but I don't have enough room for copy to philosophize the why.

Glossier Phase 2 Set, $50, available at Glossier.

Here's a pair of Moroccan slippers called babouches. Quite cool, very trending. Acne just came out with a pair (at $650).

Fez Souk Moroccan Traditional Babouches, $28.85, available at Etsy.

Can we talk about how Zara is really good at styling its clothes now? Who did they hire? Can we be friends?

Zara Flowing Dress, $49.90, available at Zara.

Snag this babe before it's gone. I distinctly remember telling a friend that I would never like or wear kitten heels circa 2008. Times have changed, trends have changed, my convictions have changed.

Prada Suede Square-Toe Pumps, $95, available at The Real Real.

But you know what DOES have endurance? My love for jumpsuits.

ASOS Jumpsuit with Cami Straps and Culotte Leg, $57, available at ASOS.

Have been watching the Netflix doc series The Sixties (really good) and find myself paying more attention to the outfits of politicos and civilian interviewees than I should be. A lot of, "Wow cute sunglasses. Wait, what happened to Lyndon B. Johnson?" These D&Gs would look great on Jackie O.

Dolce & Gabbana Acetate Round Sunglasses, $50, available at The Real Real.

I want to go riding in some bucolic setting while wearing this shirt, a mid-calf skirt, and a silk scarf.

Uniforme Jenna Off Shoulder Shirt, $325, available at Uniforme.

Like what you see? How about some more R29 goodness, right here?
