It's the same concept, but with different (roomier) silhouettes: Swap the chambray top for a boxy, oversized, or longline jacket and trade the skinnies for a cropped, flared-hem pair. What really makes us think this look will catch on is that it's recently been spotted on three different celebrities, each with a distinct personal style — proof that there are multiple ways to rock this trend. Take your cues from Alessandra Ambrosio, Zoë Kravitz, and Selena Gomez and make denim-on-denim all your own.
Alessandra Ambrosio goes for a laid-back look with a zipped-up denim parka from RtA and retro flares from Citizens of Humanity. The slouchy fit and frayed edge on the jacket (which give it a vintage flair) contrast with the structure of the wide-legged jeans.
Zoë Kravitz offers a different take on vintage-inspired denim: The actress opts for an oversized, front-button jacket (with rolled-up sleeves) and baby-bell jeans in the same faded wash.
We prefer to travel in workout clothes, but Selena Gomez suits up for the airport: The performer doubled up on frayed denim with a soft duster coat and high-waisted jeans (both Marques'Almeida).
